The Utah Office of Tourism announced Monday that it has named Sartha Global Marketing LLP as its official representative in India, a move aimed at tapping the country’s expanding outbound travel segment.
New partnership targets Indian travelers
Sartha Global Marketing will handle Utah’s outreach to Indian travel trade and media, rolling out public‑relations and advertising campaigns that showcase the state as a year‑round destination. The firm’s mandate includes building relationships with tour operators, journalists and digital influencers.
According to the agency, India ranked ninth in visitor spending for the state in 2025. Forecasts project a 16 percent rise in Indian travel expenditures between 2024 and 2030, driven by longer‑haul aspirations and better air links to the United States.
“By partnering with Sartha, we plan to expand our outreach in the Indian market and position Utah as a premier travel destination for aspiring travelers,” said Rachel Bremer, Global Markets Director at the Utah Office of Tourism. “This appointment builds on our growing travel trade and media network and destination awareness in India, generating greater interest among potential Indian travelers.”
